We are so thrilled about this Guest Mix, legendary Benny Ill from Horsepower Productions prepared a novel mix exclusively for Paranoise promoting simultaneously his appearance at Romatso on the 3rd of October alongside Raw Future Sound and Saber Rider (read more about the dance).
Benny Ill (born Ben Garner) is the central figure and co-founder of Horsepower Productions, a London-based electronic music collective widely credited as pioneer progenitors of the dubstep genre. Alongside collaborators like Jay King and former members Nasis and Lev Jnr, Ill helped define the sound by blending 2-step garage, techno, breakbeat, and heavy reggae basslines, initially releasing on the seminal label Tempa.
Selector par excellence and well known veteran and favourite of the underground music scene. Benny remains on the forefront of dance music with recent releases on Blueberry Records, Sneaker Social Club, Hardline and plenty of new material and collaborations in production for future release.
