Athens-based English artist and experimental folk singer and composer. Demi Spriggs has been released on Team Love, and on Submersion Records with her band the 'friends'. Her work is inspired by the melancholy of UK, Irish and American folk, as well as the echo-ish sounds of electronic music.She is half of the Folkway Records and Books, a small place for music, print and ephemera in Stoa Analtolis, downtown Athens. She also plays with electronic music, recording with contact mics and making music from plants. She lives with her partner Giorgio and her cat Charlie in downtown Athens, and spends time in the South-English marshlands.

Demi Spriggs' mix is entitled "on grace - freak-folktronica/downer mix" and traverses energies between different outsider folk iterations: freak, acid, baroque, folktronica, and fusion, giving a nod to noise and free jazz.
