VILBØ, a dj born Vilius in Kaunas, Lithuania, prepared today guest mix #331. With a versatile style that weaves together Indie Dance, Minimal, AfroHouse, Tech House, and touches of light Techno, VILBØ prioritizes storytelling over sticking to a single sound. As the founder of the project Decks&Stories, VILBØ channels his creativity into curating experiences that resonate with audiences, blending emotive rhythms and vibrant grooves.
Over the past two years, VILBØ has performed over 100 gigs across diverse settings. His journey began at Bali River Club, where his hands shook but his passion shone through. Soon after, he took his talents to Thailand’s Koh Phangan, playing three sets there. His most memorable gig was at a bar called Amsterdam Bar on that same island, " I played a sunset mix under a golden sky. That’s where my journey truly began, filled with excitement and passion for playing." VILBØ has also left his mark at the Lithuanian festival “ATRADIMAI,” collaborating through Decks&Stories to create unforgettable moments.
His guest mix for Paranoise Radio, captures the spontaneity of a late-night studio session. Unplanned yet inspired, the nearly two-hour mix flows from light Tech House into Minimal grooves, culminating in a faster Indie Dance vibe.
"The tracks were random, but the vibe was right. I didn’t even plan for it to be almost 120 minutes long, but after an hour, I just couldn’t stop — digging for tracks hit differently that night.
