Dee-Jay Craxi has been playing from the Underworld since 19 January 2000, when he left this earth and entered the world of electronic music. The leader of the glorious Italian Socialist Party, he was the victim of a political witch hunt, which forced him to exile and made him die of a heart attack. He plays the music of regret, longing, and eternal sighs. Since 2007 he has appeared in the dreams of a random bloke from Venice and dictated to him his compilations in his sleep. Dee-Jay Craxi’s music ranges from IDM to downtempo, from ambient to art pop. However, one night, after being given the tracklist of his next compilation, the Italian bloke asked Craxi how he would define his music. Craxi said: ‘politically motivated music for sad fucks’.
